MARMORINO DR LAVATO is one of the most decorative finishes amongst Italian lime based plasters. This product mimics antique plaster that has weathered over time. The differently colored grains of marble and large mica flakes rise from the smooth surface of the plaster, making De Lavato a very precious and impressive stucco.
Composition: Finely filtered white hydraulic lime, grains of marble (special powdered marble granules sifted and selected granule size, mica flakes) and special additives.
Appearance: White powder with colored grains of marble
Type of Surface to be covered: The ideal substrate is plaster made of sand, lime and cement. However, with the right preparation, it can be applied to any surface.
Dilution: Water must be added to obtain a paste that is easy to apply. Amount of water varies depending on the substrate's absorption.
Drying time: 2-5 hours at 68°F to the touch. 8-14 hours at 68°F below the surface. Stable in 60 days.
Application: New Plaster: Apply directly with our stainless steel trowel. Over Old Plaster: Clean away dust and apply our Fixafond 400. Mix the powder with water, tint with universal pigment.
For exterior application, apply uniform layer of Marmorino Delavato to wall using our stainless steel trowel. After the first layer is completely dry, you may apply a second layer. Be sure to make the surface even with our stainless steel trowel before the plaster begins harden. Seal with Marmorino Depot top coat sealer.
