Architectural Art versus Real Estate value

Posted on October 07, 2014 by Michael Glickman | 0 Comments

How many times did we hear that  Architectural Art does contribute to Real Estate value.

In most cases - indirectly.

But, sometimes very much DIRECTLY!!!!

This is just one example: Art Space NYC has completed extensive Decorative Art installation at the Main Lobby of Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York: Art on glass, Bass Reliefs, Moroccan Plaster, Venetian Plaster, Leafing, Glazing and etc.

All kind of plaster materials by Fresco has been use there (supplied by Marmorino Depot).

What happened soon after that?

Waldorf  Astoria has been sold to Chinese Insurance Firm for almost 2 (two) Billions Dollars!  Check this article below.

Posted on July 04, 2014 by Michael Glickman | 6 Comments

It has always been a questionable issue: can Venetian plaster be successfully applied over exterior walls in North East of USA? Snowy winters, Ice storms, hurricanes and much more.... Who would even dare to use Venetian plaster in such harsh environment?

Look at the

masterpiece below.

This beautiful modern house in Upstate New York has received "dark chocolate"  exterior grade Venetian plaster more than a year ago, and the client loved it.

Application system:

Cement undercoat (done by GC)

Sand primer Fixafond 400 (Fresco made)

Two coats of Marblestone AD (Fresco made)

One coat of fine Marblestone Plak (Fresco made)

Waterproofer (Marmorino Depot)

Cera Wax (oil based) with gold Mica

Application: by Igor Koskossov and team.
